The Family History Guide has a wonderful training program. You can track your progress using the online program or use the document forms that can be printed. The following video is about 30 minutes long. It was done through Ancestry.com. The first 8 minutes tells the basics of why a person might choose to do descendancy research. This video goes more in depth into researching descenants.
